Trial fitting the screen and masking it and the car in preparation to fit it.
I found the single Draper Suction Pads held the screen securely (the double handle type carriers do not hold the screen due to the curvature of the screen).

I remove the screen an place it on a pile of old curtains to make some minor changes, as I had done loads of times before, when disaster struck. I heard a dull clink and looked around to see the screen had slid off and mad contact with the steel wheel dolly.
Doh - not good, not good at all.
