I want to get the exhaust system coated and decide on the Zircotec plasma coating process. Before delivering the components to Zircotec, I mask up all the flanges with masking tape so they know all of the surfaces they need to properly protect. I also use masking tape, photos and measurements to enable me to correctly identify the parts that each of the muffler consists of for correct reassembly on return.

Zircotec took about a week to turn around their plasma coating process on the exhaust system. Upon collection I reassemble the mufflers.

I then refit the system, and boy does it  look good.
