The petrol tanks require a protective stone ship coating. I have decided to paint only the non exposed areas. The exposed areas are masked up and Black Tectyl overpaintable stone chip is sprayed on.

 Once this is dry I give the exposed areas a polish with Solvol Autosol.

I also check the fuel gauge senders, good job as the transit pins were still installed. These would have be a mission to remove once the tanks were fully installed.
