Some time previous ( January 2015) I attempted to fit the the light pods and had challenges getting a neat fit.
My ones seem to foul on the back of the light units even after dressing the lights as much as I dare.
Gently removing 'high' spots from the inside of fibre glass I eventually succeed in making a hole !!
To address this I effectively remove the existing bulge and with the aid of plasticine I fashion a slightly large bulge using fibreglass.
I also extend the edges slightly to provide a better fit.

Once any imperfections have been made good with some filler they are painted with some stonechip paint and some plastic edging trim fitted.
